PREVOR

PREVOR is a laboratory which specialises in the development of emergency treatment of chemical accidents. It is in this capacity that we have been working, since 1958, with the industrial sector in collaboration with the emergency departments.

For more than 40 years, we have investigated chemistry, biology and human physiology to understand the essence of toxicology, man-chemical product interactions and their acute and chronic consequences. Thanks to the work realised in cooperation with academics from Europe and the United-States, we have acquired for more than 40 years a culture of chemical products and their potentials.

Today, based on this knowledge we are able to go beyond the limits of non-optimal solutions in order to increase the safety and the effectiveness of the victim’s treatment and consequently avoid complications.
Now, we are the daily partners of the manufacturers, armies and governments to improve the chemical safety. We are established in Europe, United-States, Asia and Africa. From day to day, we offer the necessary means to ensure the safety of populations on a professional plan as well as on a civil plan within the scope of governmental programmes for security

The Ames MPF Kits kit include media, ampicillin, rat liver S9 (optional) and positive controls (optional). The assays are based on the fluctuation and pre-incubation method cited in the OECD Guideline 471, but use liquid media in microplates and have a colorimetric read-out.

Xenometrix also offers cytotoxicity kits with multiple endpoints for one cellular sample. Such an approach enhances the probability of identifying toxic compounds, uses less test compounds and removes inter-assay variability.
